Today is Tuesday, 2/22/22! What is it about the twos? Immediately, I think of how God created us, giving us two brain hemispheres eyes, nostrils, lips, ears, breasts, lungs, kidneys, arms, hands, legs, and feet. He generously gave us a double portion. “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor” (Eccl. 4:9). They can help each other, keep each other warm, and defend each other. In other words, everybody needs somebody. God intended for us to help, warm, and protect one another. It takes at least two people to walk in agreement (Amos 3:3) and to pray (Matt. 18:19). He understood the explosive power of two people coming together. When two people agree in prayer, God is in the midst and does whatever they ask in Jesus’ name. God sent out the twelve (Mark 6:7) and the seventy-two (Luke 10:1), two by two. We can not accomplish the work of God alone. Ultimately, we are co-laborers with God, but He gave us each other. Celebrate the second person in your life and give them a double portion of your love!
