Day 305 – Generous on Every Occasion

Generosity is a gracious gift given by God. Therefore, it should result in honor and thanksgiving to Him. Jesus was rich but became poor so that we might be rich toward God. We try to excel in academics, business, media, entertainment, society, politics, and the like. However, God desires that we first give ourselves to Him then become faithful in giving ecstatically to meet the needs of His church. God will meet all of your needs according to His riches in Christ.

  1. I give whole heartedly and with enthusiasm to my church both financially and with service. Outside of the church, my giving needs to improve. I frequently get emails or text messages from friends and family, sometimes close and distant, requesting donations for a go fund me page or whatever it is that they are trying to raise money for. On these occasions, my giving is approximately 80% of the time. My prayer is to give 100% of those times, on occasions outside of the church, so that I may be a blessing to others. Thank you Pastor for sharing the word of God!!
