Day 196 – Complacent in Zion

After setting a goal and obtaining it, some people get very comfortable and relax efforts to go to the next level. This may be appropriate for some depending on the age and stage in life. However, there is so much to learn and do in the kingdom of God, that complacency could be a hindrance. The devil is relentless and is never at ease. He is constantly seeking whom he may devour. Therefore, press on and continue abounding in the work of the Lord.

  1. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:58‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Thank you Pastor for sharing the word of God!!
