Day 121 – Afflicted

It is interesting to note that God gave Satan permission to afflict Job knowing that Jesus would also be afflicted. Jesus left the perfect example in that He did not open His mouth. The Lamb before His shearers was silent. Although Job’s wife tempted him to curse die, he considered her a foolish woman and willingly accepted affliction. Though we face very difficult and unpleasant situations, we must be confident that God’s plan of deliverance and salvation will prevail.

  1. Hallelujah!! To be able to trust God and have faith is a pleasant and comforting experience. Just knowing that He has your back is reassuring and lightens the stress or anxiety one would normally experience when dealing with unpleasant situations. The more you trust God, the easier it becomes to deal with situations. Thank you Pastor for sharing the word of God!!
