Many of us do not like opposition. However, if we are honest with ourselves we would admit that if it were not for opposing forces, we probably would not go to God in prayer. Sometimes conflict can be very beneficial in that it humbles us, causes us to check ourselves, and compare our responses against the Word of God. When he faced temptation to relax while employed, Nehemiah simply prayed to His employer, “Now strengthen my hands.”
“So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said to him, “This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, so that they may worship me.” Exodus 10:3 NIV. This storyline is s good example where Pharaoh continuously met opposition with a hardened heart and finally had to humble himself and let the people of Israel go. Thank you Pastor for sharing the word of God!!!
